What the code opens

On the driver’s phone: the site name, the instructions you ticked in the driver’s own language, and the gatehouse number as a button that dials it. Eighteen languages, chosen from the phone’s own setting, with a picker. The page says plainly that this site printed the sign free from DockLedger and does not record the arrival.

Why it is free

A sign is the whole of what a driver needs at a gate, so it should cost nothing. A yard that wants the arrivals recorded, the waiting timed and the carrier told wants what DockLedger is, and that sign says “check in”. Waiting times and the check-in are part of the Platform: £129 a site a month.
