Every delivery a checker has been through lands here, with the photographs they took of the delivery note, CMR or invoice. You can view the paperwork, see how long the check actually took, and release the driver once you are happy.
Waiting-time evidence packs
Pick a carrier and a date range and DockLedger builds a pack: every delivery, when the driver checked in, when they got a gate, when they left, and how much of that was over the free time you agreed with that carrier. It uses the free time and detention rate you set against them in Contacts, so the arithmetic is theirs, not yours.
The pack is built on three stamps between the bay and the check — called to the dock, loading started, loading finished — and underneath them, the carrier notices DockLedger sent automatically: a warning as free time runs out and a notice once detention starts, each with whether it was emailed and when. A detention argument is only as good as proof the carrier was told, and that proof is printed with the stamps, not asserted alongside them.

Raising a claim on a supplier
When a delivery comes up short, damaged or wrong against what was declared, press Raise a claim with the supplier from the exception on Goods In. DockLedger cannot send a claim with no photograph attached, and the supplier’s own claim window — 48 hours by default from sign-in, unless you have set a different one — counts down on the draft so a claim is not quietly missed and argued a month later instead.
