Your vehicles is the register of the site’s own lorries — add one, give it a kind, and stand it down when it leaves the fleet rather than deleting it, so its history and the bookings that named it keep their meaning. A booking on a registered plate links to its vehicle automatically; a booking never adds one to the register.
Tracking a vehicle between bookings, not just on a booked slot, needs a telematics account connected under the site’s own name — the same Telematics screen a carrier connects through, used for your own fleet instead of theirs. Only vehicles the register marks as own and active are followed, positions are kept for 30 days, and a vehicle with no connection simply shows no position between bookings rather than a stale one.
